Remembering the Mahatma

Mahatma Gandhi was not just the father of the Indian nation, he was one of the world's foremost political thinkers of all time.
Unlike any other thinker, Gandhi ji provided a moral dimension to politics. For him, politics was not about the pursuit of power. It was a means to purify one's soul.
"You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty," Gandhi ji said.
Like millions across the globe do, we, the Indian National Congress Party' members pay our deepest respects to the man who liberated India from colonial rule and shaped the very spirit of this great nation.
